Forum Club of Green Valley
who, what, when, why, where, how, & cost
Who? The Forum is a Green Valley club.
The club is open to all GVR (Green Valley Recreation) members. What? Listed as a discussion group, but it is a lecture with Q&A at the end. When? 10 to 11 AM Wednesdays. Usually, 10:45 to 11 AM is Q&A. Why? Inquiring minds want to know. Where? East Social Center, Green Valley, that's in sunny Arizona How? As usual, by the volunteer work of a few, hard working people. Cost? Annual dues is $2 per person per year.

Jane Hill, regents professor of anthropology and linguistics at the university arizona, will apply the methods of historical linguistics and archaeology to explore questions posed by prehistory regarding early cultivators. June 11 Robert Vint Modern Adobe Architecture Robert Vint, architect from Tucson, will present examples of contemporary structures built with adobe, one of the oldest building materials, and show how valid its use still is in today's world. June 4 Philip Newlin Convicts, Con-men & Concealments Philip Newlin, retired administrative law judge, will present his insights into the California prison system and its populations; what Ted Koppel never saw.
